Prams will have default downcodes that can be added to or modified.

The active column will show Yes or No indicating if the option is shown in PumperX2.

If you want to modify an existing code select it and then click "Edit" then save changes.

There are a default set of downcodes that are provided in PRAMS. This process allows you add, edit, and/or remove downcode items so that the meet your companies needs. Each downcode consists of a code, description and active flag.  
  
To add anew line select "Add" enter in the code and description then save.

If you want to change the order of the codes then you can click, hold and drag the handle to the left of the active column and place it where the green arrows appear at.

When downtime is recorded for a site codes are created that describe the reason for the downtime. The Downcode Maintenance process is used to manage the codes and their descriptions that are used in the field data capture apps.

Where can I find it?

You can find this process on the main menu under the Tools| Downcode Maintenance, or by using the screen search at the top of the screen.

How do I use it?

There are a default set of downcodes that are provided in PRAMS. This process allows you add, edit, and/or remove downcode items so that the meet your companies needs. Each downcode consists of a code, description and active flag.

The order the downcodes are displayed is the order you see them on the screen. You can reorder the list by dragging the rows up or down.

Adding a downcode

  • To add a new downcode click the button labeled 'Add' at the top of the screen. This will open a popup window where you can specify the code, description, and active state for the new downcode.
  • The code is required and must unique and be between 1 and 5 alphanumeric characters, spaces are allowed.
  • The description is required and must be between 1 and 40 alphanumeric characters, spaces are allowed.
  • When creating a new downcode don't forget to check the 'Active' box.
  • Click the button labeled 'Add' to save the new downcode.

Editing a downcode
