Tests are occasionally acquired during the life of a site and provide a benchmark for site production. Daily Allocation calculations use these data when the Test Derivation Method H is used.

Where can I find it?

You can find this process on the main menu under Daily Processes | Daily Test Maintenance

How do I use it?

Select a site from the site selector on the right hand side of the screen to see the current daily test records that exist for the site. Once a site is selected you can add, edit or remove test records if you have permission to do so.

Adding a test record

Click the button labeled 'Add Test' at the top of the screen. A new row will be added where you can enter information for the test.

Editing a test record

To edit any values for an existing test record just click the value you want to change an enter a new value.

Removing a test record

To remove an existing test record select the record you want to remove and click the button labeled 'Remove Test'.

Remarks on test entry

You may export the currently viewed test entries to Excel by clicking the 'Export to Excel' button at the top of the screen. The date can be edited directly or you can use the calendar lookup to select the date.

The time is entered as hours and minutes in the format HH:MM. To make entry simpler you can use the period (.) in place of the colon (:).

Oil gas and water values can be any decimal number greater than or equal to zero. Normally this would be the volume for each product for the test time entered. Oil and water are normally entered as barrels and gas as MCF. If you are using these values for a fixed ratio allocation then normally they are entered as a decimal (i.e. 66% = 0.66)

The time/values entered as 24 hour values are displayed but cannot be edited.
